92 Teg Mileage Question

snitches get stitches
very bad. I get 280-300 or so a tank. Best I've got is probably 360 on a tank.
If you think about it: the tank capacity is 13.2 gallons, but usually you only go to about 11. so,
190/11 = 17 miles per gallon. Tegs should be getting 25 or so.

Here's my stats for you to compare to.
In my 97 ls, I average about 29.8 mpg.
That's with behaving myself on suburban streets, and giving it some on the freeway (80+mph, hills, etc.)
BTW I find the gas gauge to be a bit pessimistic..

totally depends on how you are driving and how your car is running, I used to get 250-280 on a consistent basis in my 93 teg for a full tank, but I thought it shouldve been better..... guess I was jus spoiled by my civ..... I first had a civic dx which was ULTRA conservative, then the teg, now my lude which drinks gas compared to the other two lol......

if i drive on the freeway for a long ass time and dont hit traffic, ive gotten upto 280 on a full tank. but that only happened once
i actually get pretty damn good mileage on the freeway most of the time, but once i hit the local streets and traffic, my gas just disappears
