i gave my mom a laptop about 16 months ago. a cheap acer black monday special acer one but it started dying. so i decided to give her my current hp with hdmi. she mainly watches her shows on the internet and the hdmi will make it easier for her to connect to her tv.


soooooo i got myself a new laptop.

not too bad with the gtx460 gpu. i'm going to replace the hdd with the new intel 300 or 600gb SSD when it's released.

from amazons webpage. except there is a mistake. it's 1333mhz for ram not 1066. 1066 is for non-i7 cpu laptops.

I hate Asus computers. I was thinking about getting that. But I just couldn't.

 

how is the battery life? lol

 

it sucks but given that I didn't buy the laptop for battery life it doesn't bother me at all. when gaming in a fps game such as blackops, it lasts about 1hr to 1ht 15mins. but given that most laptops wont even be able to play blackops at full 1080p resolution with all the settings on high with AA. i could care less about battery life. oh and it's like 9lb too :chuckles:
