Sorry for the stupid thread I'm just curious, for those that do have a lawn to mow, do you bag or do you mulch? We don't have a bag and our lawn mower is shitty it pisses me off! :madfawk: :angry:

mulching every time is bad for your grass...you only want to mulch once every few months and bag the rest of hte time.

I don't mow my own lawn anymore but the people who do it bag. Then they empty it in our green/plant garbage can

 

I mulch everytime. In spring and in fall, i will rake the yard with a heave metal rake and bring all the thatch (dead Grass) up and put it in my copost pile. Then once i've raked up all the thatch, i will seed and fertilize to bring the grass back to a healthy state for next spring. Mulching is not a bad thing.

over mulching can possibly cause dead grass because the grass roots can become suffocated. With all the material being put back into the roots, it can clog pores and prevent respiration to the root, which needs air to live.
