I know this is a honda-acura forum, but why the heck are the older model eclipces, lasers, and talons exactly alike inside and out? pretty weird. I've often wondered that. :eh:

 

Has anyone ever noticed that on the back of old Lasers the script looks like loser?? Or is it just me?

 

Because they are all built on the same platform? Not sure about the Laser but the Eclipse and talon have the same engine...

From what I've heard, DCM basically gave some crazy dude the different stickers for each car and he bounced down the assembly line and put what ever sticker on what ever car he wanted.

Not really, but I think they just put different stickers on the same car.

 

Eclipse Tsi = talon tsi = laser tsi(i think)

 

dodge intrepid(?)/eagle vision

 

talon, eclipse gs= fwd dohc no turbo
talon tsi, eclipse gst = fwd, turbo
talon tsi awd, eclipse gsx = awd, turbo



i dunno the laser trim levels, i know there's a laser RS, but i dunno how they designated the turbo and awd trims

 

there was also the mitsubishi montero/dodge raider

but i think the 'sports' cars were DSMs

 

ugh i knew someone was gonna say DSM in this thread. i hate that word. yea im weird.
