Homeboy got Term'ed
Remember my post about the guy that I worked with who was a Temporary to Hire guy that didn't know he was going to be let go? Everything seemed fine yesterday. He wasn't supposed to be let go until the end of May but I got an e-mail on the way home yesterday. "M******** W************* is no longer employed at (insert company here). Do not allow him in the building, blah blah blah. I was ohhhhhhhh $hit! I figured he knew so he wouldn't return to work the next day. I came in and did my normal routine this morning but I also needed to drop a package off at one of the front desks for UPS pickup. The security guy was on the phone talking to a friend I guess and I started walking back to my office. Security "I gotta go. I gotta go. M***** W********** is here! F%*%!" I just kept walking because he didn't see me and I felt bad for him. I thought he knew! I heard security held him there and didn't let him in but he thought they were joking. Someone went up there and got his Nextel phone and badge to get in our department. And I was just told to disable his network account and change all passwords. Someone in HR had a big problem with the guy because no one within the company ever gets fired or layed off for anything minor.

Our HR guy gets off on firing people. You can see the enjoyment he gets, and the look in his eyes is pure evil.

I get emails almost daily for people that have been term'ed upstairs in the customer service area. Its fawked up how it takes a while to get hired here but just a few clicks to totally delete you from our system.
Sometimes I feel bad when I do it.

what did he do wrong?
He lied or forgot to put that he had a misdemeanor on his record when he put in for the position. They turned around and said that he couldn't get the job because of that. He apparently got into it with someone at HR and mentioned legal action so they let him go.
