Gas Question
brand, not really except for shell, they use some other sh!t in their gas, and 86, 88, or 91, it all depends on your engine, but more than likely 86 is just for you lil ole honda.....
here the options are, 87, 89, 93 (94 @ shell).....

1) Does it matter what brand you buy?
Not really. They all get their gas from the same refinery, so there's really no difference. As long as there's no water in it, gas is gas.
2) Does it really matter what kind you buy...as in 86, 88, 91???
That depends on the octane needs of your car. As a rule, the lowest octane gas that doesn't cause detonation is best. The cheaper, lower octane gas will actually work better. Octane has nothing to do with quality, BTW.

HOw can you tell the octane needs of the car?
I'm trying to tell my dad that his 92 Toyota van does not required 91 gas...but he doesn't listen so I'm trying to get these facts straight before I try to convince him again.
