Default Mac/photo editing people, question for you

is there a way to edit a photo where you make everything B&W while keeping a single color using iPhoto? i know this is possible w/ Photoshop and such, but i've only got iPhoto

is it possible?

Not familiar with the software, but the term I'd search for is selective (or partial) desaturation.
