Only go if you have someone who you will have a good time with. I did not go and do not regret it at all. A friend of mine went with a random girl and had a bad time. It is not all it is hyped up to be.

 

I went with my ex-gf when I was a junior & she was a senior... had a blast...

I went last year as a senior with my gf (who was a sophomore last year) and had an even better time...

I might be going next year if me and my gf are still together, and I'm able to get some leave...

It's tons of fun if you go with a good girl & a good group... we always had a big group at the prom but we all met up after we had dinner & chilled for a bit while the girls put on their finishing touches... then we rolled in in a nice long line & took up an entire row in the parking lot & chilled at someone's house afterwards...

 

had just bought tires for the ol car, so i had no money to afford a tux and 2 tickets... yeah, that sucked for me, oh well, from what i hear it wasnt that great anyway...

 

no. totally overrated...if you don't go, I promise you won't care later.

 

Going to my senior one on may 2nd. Went last year it was alright. Go, that way you won't fell as if you missed out on something special.

Exactly. Missing mine wasn't a big deal at all, I had better things to do. I only went to my girl's because she wanted to. If I would have missed it, no biggie.

 

Yeah i dun care about doing things becuz everyone else is doing it...

i'd rather do that....just let sum lady friends come with me clubbin and they can do watever they....i dun touch drugs but they can

 

I had better things to do also...work. instead of spending a crapload of money (although it would be considerably cheaper since I would've gone stag) to go to a stupid school sponsored thing and hand around later with a bunch of drunken buffoons, I made money.
and everyone I know that went said the actual prom part was boring. you're better off skipping that and going to the parties afterwards.
