NT or 2000 is better if you are looking for a stable Win based OS.

 

i spent 2 weeks setting up my linux to do ip masquerade and broadcast the interenet to my other two pc's. i'm a big time linux newbie. i also got a good firewall setup. then one day it just stopped working and i couldn't get it to work. i got fed up and threw on a windows OS to get the internet back to all the PC's. i found my xp cd, and installed XP. shared out my interenet took about 2 seconds to do it, and setup my firewall. been up since, my win2k box has been up since god knows when. gotta give props where it's due..


i'd still rather run linux since i can make effective use of old pc's i have sittin' around. :thumbup:
