What's the last car? After that looks like a Viper, Boxster, Corvette, NSX, 911, 348/355.

Supra maybe.

As far as cars available back then, I think the NSX handles better than the M3, and have driven both. Porsche 944 handles better too. I don't know if you could get a Caterham/Lotus 7 back then, but it would hand any BMW its ass on any track, except maybe a long straight one. I have a buddy back in Texas who had a GSR sedan that he upgraded the suspension and put a SC on it. He would regularly beat the hell out of the M3 guys at the track.
