Power company is planning maintenance and will be shutting down the power for 8 hours. I'll be in here in the dark with a dog, a 12 gauge shotty, and a foty five. Should be good times. Maybe I should invest in a portable generator. The neighbors might not appreciate it though (I live in a condo complex).

 

You could practice skeet shooting with random objects, then when you got your generator your neighbors wouldn't mind the generator humm

 

8 hours for maintenance? WTF?

I don't think ive ever had to deal with anything like that. That'd royally piss me off.

 

The power company might have alerted the police that our area will be dark so shooting stuff could lead to trouble very quickly. Only things I'll be shooting are criminals trying to steal my stuff...unless they're ninjas or Chuck Norris...then I'll be dead before I can even get one shot off.

With this particular power company, 8 hour or longer outages are usually unplanned...last one was a car hit something related to the power system (transformer or load station or something? Don't remember.) and the power was out for almost an entire day.

 

No TV or Internet...I might die. Or I'll have go to sleep or something. I do have a lot of booze...though that might inhibit my ability to stop the zombie invasion if it should happen tonight.

 

i stopped drinking for the past week or so and i had a couple tonight, i feel like shit now.

 

I guess I should not stop drinking then...early death due to cancer or my liver exploding might be a problem though...
