I could claim that, sure. But I'd always know it was jsut some stoopad who places the ad. The dealer would probably fall back on the "It's not my fault, autotrader messed it up" excuse.

tell them about all the money you're saving them when you tell them about it. maybe they'll cut you a deal on something down the road.

Yeah... something I can afford in about 7 or 10 years. Or something used for under 15k that isn't always that low

Probably what they want as a down payment. I see these all the time, but usually they say $1500 down at the bottom of the details.
