Yeah, it's crazy how big these maps can get. Like I said, it renders as you go, and I've heard it can render up to 3 times the size of earth, lol.



The program for maps is called MTS (Minecraft Topographical Survey).

put a couple hours into single player last night

really excavated out my mine, damn spiders and skeletons are hiding down in the depths of it, building up my castle walls, built a lookout tower on the mountain above my mine and built a dock down from the main house for ma boat. haven't even explored anything yet really

 

If you ever hear freaky music you are somewhere near a dungeon spawner. I have three spots where I hear it and I have yet to find the damn dungeon...:wtc:

dude m/p is so fun but I don't know how you guys build so fast. I'm still on granite, coal, dirt, and sand. I'm just bulldozing the island next to the floating house trying to build up a wall. But its taking forever!

 

Diamond pick, diamond shovel, and diamond axe. h: Have Josh spawn you some diamond since it is a BITCH to find...shit I haven't even found Iron...

 

I feel like thats cheating . Perhaps I should...

Since I'm building on an island thats practically on the shoreline, is there a chance I can still dig downward and find stuff? or should I have started on the mainland?
