Weather is pretty sweet.
Found out you can build a bed and sleep at night to change it to daytime.
Portals work and are crazy.
Wolves are cool, but seem to be rare.

the game wont let me log in..... i can log into minecraft.net but not the game.......

You have to download the new launcher from minecraft.net.
Old launcher won't connect.
