Need to make a couple these at every stop.

 

I like that. It would be really good to do. I had been thinking of what to do for different exits. Some people do it so you push a button for what stop you want, then have redstone following underneath, but that would take a lot and it would only work for one person riding.

Also I believe redstone only goes 300 blocks, but that might only be for SP.

 

Redstone goes 15 blocks. NOT gates are needed to continue the circuit. I think it is infinite otherwise...

From what I read on the wiki though, blocks more than 300 away aren't rendered and just don't make the circuit. It could be old though, but I don't really want to test it.

 

If I am reading it correctly, they will activate when you get within 300 blocks, so they work, just not until you get within the "chunk"

 

at first i was pissed when i saw llama destroyed my subway, but then i saw the improvements and i was like yeah this game can get complicated real quick with red stones.
