not sure about the branch in san diego, but the tea station in artesia has takoyaki

you should go to dolphin bay cafe in artesia. large menu of drinks and great food.

either grilled or fried

but yeah i miss the boba meat days... now everyone's all grown up, moved out, had kids, etc h:

I don't think they are ground. They are definitely chopped up bits of octopus. I heard sometimes it might even be a whole baby octopus.

They are good though. They're put in a batter and then put into a semi-circular cast iron pan.
