wireless mouse help
so this problem didn't occur when i was still on vista, but after switching the os to windows 7, after installing the software/drivers for my wireless mouse my touchpad stays "on"
it's not too big of a problem, but it's annoying and i'm pretty ocd with my computer. it's a microsoft explorer mouse and just works with the usb. i don't remember exactly where/how i found out on vista, but i remember it showing that the touchpad turned off when the usb was in, but now on 7 i can't find anything related to the touchpad. looked at troubleshooting and 'help' stuff on microsoft's website but didn't find anything...
how do i turn my touchpad off when the mouse is plugged in??

Did Vista come with the laptop?
It is probably the drivers for the touchpad that needs to be updated. Check your laptop manufacturers website for most updated touchpad drivers.

my dell has touchpad settings that turn TP off when the mouse is plugged in. most others do as well, make sure you have theproper touchpad drivers installed
