Default Electric razors?

So here's the deal...I'm really tired of always having razorburn on my throat. Are electric razors more gentle? How good of a job do they do? What's the best kind to get? I've been using a Mach 3 razor for a while now, and it's still too rough on my throat...

I'm using some Gel cream...the skin on my throat is pretty sensitive, so everytime I shave it I get razorburn...I've tried aftershave lotion on it to help, different kinds of shaving cream, but nothing seems to help...:dunno:

i get the same problem with manual razors...but electric razors will be far worse. Trust me.

get some barbasol, the stuff that comes out as cream instead of a gel. It works better.

Other then that, just be slow, careful, and have a new clean blade.

Bummer...that was what I was afraid of...I've never used an electric razor so I wasn't sure.

Well, thanks for the help...I guess I'll just have to deal with it.

Get Barbasol Aloe.

It's cheaper than the gel stuff anyway, like 99 cents for a can.

I use the mach 3 turbo.. It's a little more gentle because it has to strips of that stuff that helps prevent razor burn. Electric razors don't work for shit on me. Oh ya, and try shaving every other day. Helps me alot!! Also, you can go to the dermatologist and get some cream that you apply after to get rid of all the brun marks, etc.
