Hmmm, I'm interested in dual monitors with one display. How would I go about pursuing that for a decent price?

it's pretty easy. obviously you'll need two monitors to start.
as for the video card. you can get a dual head video card or get one agp video and one pci video card.

connect everything up then go into display properties, should be under the settings tab. click on extend my desktop to this monitor.


i had to use nvidias nview because I could not install another video card in my system. works okay but not the best solution.


the video card was $65 MX440? I think?
the expensive part will be getting another monitor.

Get a Matrox video card... they have the best dual display systems out there. Matrox has been at multi displays for like 4 generations of chips... nVidia... this is like their first attempt at it... and it sucks.

Just dropping in another vid card kinda sucks too. For cheap though it's probably one of the ways to go. Get a matrox G550 for $130 or less and then you'll be stylin.
