ford probes suxor=P my friend has a 94, tranny and clutch went out with 74k on it, bought a use tranny, it grenaded in 10 minutes then put in another one, and less than 48 hrs on the road either the throw out bearing exploded or the clutch shattered...

 

and he/she still has it why?

 

In this case it sounds more like the Ford Tranny's suck....












but yeah, so do probes.

Drop in a JDM KLZE engine for it. It's from the JDM Mazda MX6 and will drop right into the Probe with not that much trouble.

Also I put in a new clutch and throwout bearing in my ZC today, it was easy as shit.

 

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the probes built by Mazda?

 

The Probe/MX6 was basically the same car. However I know my brothers MX6 has a Mazda engine, I think the Ford has a Ford engine. I'm not sure if they are the exact same thing with a different logo on the valve cover or what. If I had to swing one way I would assume they are Mazda made because Mazda/Japan=Smaller cars, Ford/America=big cars and trucks.
