i picked up a 00fbp em1 last fri
sticker was 16.3k but i was able to talk it down to 14k
i stopped at a H dealer last mon and the salesman asked me what i was interested in. i told him a 99-00 si, any color, preferably black. he goes "come with me." he takes me back to the prep center where they had a 00 black si. it had a old schoo touring wing and this billet looking sticker thing on the fuel door. the strut bar and sparkplug cover were sprayed red.
they were in the process of converting to stock as much as possible. in the end they took the wing and sticker off. bondoed the trunk to patch up the holes but they are still visible in sunlight.
buts its all good. all VINs are in place, a couple dings but then again its a used car and feels good.
the car has 31k miles with 5k more of warranty. handling feels better than white_si and theres a lil more power. VTEC is cool.
so far mods:
wheel locks
replace red strut bar with black one
remove 3rd brake light
gsr shift knob
im gonna get a autolock and a alarm this week
plans:
comfort/looks -> suspension -> more hp
