yeah, i found that too.

pat had this nice site that sold tranny jacks, engine cranes, door jacks, and all kinds of specialty tools...but he hasnt been on in a few days now...

exactly why I didn't do it myself, sometimes it's worth not having to deal with it, and installing an alarm would be one of those headaches I'd rather not deal with, especially when it's a high end Clifford w/alot of bells and whistles. I tried searching for this door jack/stand your talking about and I couldn't find anything

Why don't you just talk to a body shop and rent one for the day. Body shops are never open on weekends so you can do it then. Why spend $50-$100 on a tool you are going to use once?
