What's a good notebook for 2k-ish?

uh windows me sucks long and hard it crashes like mad, i wasn't saying it was a user issue for you, i was just saying that can be the problem

Well Toshiba looks nice and all, but they are around $3000!
h: A little too much for a notebook, especially since it will cost even more to add the wireless networking options.
I guess i'm going to go with the Dell 600m for around 2k US. They are doubling the memory of the systems for free too.

back when i was getting my laptop, i did a lot of research. make sure you play with them in the stores. i really really wanted a toshiba, but ended up with a fujitsu and love it. it's a little heavy, but can handle anything i through at it. they have nice lights ones too. but my reccommendations would be toshiba, fujitsu, or the 17" powerbook.

the 17" powerbook is fuking sweet. it makes my 15" look like the first ibook
