So summer is almost coming to an end and I still haven't done anything special this summer. So I was thinking about renting some kayaks for me and my brother. I've never done anything like that before and I live near nyc so I'm kinda afraid if its even legal around here to kayak on the reservoirs. Any HANers here know any great spots near nyc?

 

Closest decent rapids area to NYC is Delaware Water Gap Park.

 

I really don't need something with rapids. More like canoe peaceful waters can do too.
