Car advice
Ok just lookin for some advice. While out workin on the teg today, had a guy come up lookin at my 90' camaro i have. He def wants the car. He wants to even trade me a 1984 Mercedes-Benz E190 with 130000 miles, nothin wrong mechanically and body is in perfect shape. My camaro hasnt been on the road in 2 years (small problems) its V6 290000 miles 2 different colors. He will be back shortly to drive the camaro (its got a flat, bringing a compressor with him). Is this even trade something i should consider or are those benz horrible or what? Honestly right now i have no running (solid-running) car.... so it seems like a no brainer to me. And yea it looks like a grand pa car, but its in really nice shape. Advice?
Do what is best for your child. You don't want your child growing up thinking his dad was an idiot for not trading the camaro for that sweet E190. It's like they say, "If life throws you a curve ball, swing as hard as you can to knock it out the park."

first run on the w201 platform, but from what I am reading they seem to be pretty solid. Mind you this is just form some interwebs research no personal experience. Though my aunt/uncle have had merc sleds sine before I can remember and they loved all of them up until the late 90's when they stopped buying them cause they started being shitty. They had a couple 80's diesel merc's that ran 400,000 miles.
I'd do it. A non-running, 290,000 mile, V6 camaro for a running, less-than-half-the-mileage Benz? Do it. Those older Benzes are tanks, and it should be a solid driver.
And post pics when you get it.

kind of a no brainer if you ask me . . . i mean even if you do the deal and decide you dont like the benz . . . should be able to sell it no problem for the same if not more than what that camaro was worth
