What is the big deal about them? I don't think they're even any good.

 

I don't think there is a big deal about them going on..they're ok..I have their CD...some of the songs are cool because it's a different style of music then we are used to I guess...:dunno: There are other bands though I'd rather see in concert etc.

 

Yeah, theres a lot of other bands I'd rather see live then them. I don't know there just seems like people are making a big deal about them. You won't see me buying their cd.

Um could it be because they are talented, original and not some work of the big corporate music machine. Amy Lee may be 20 but she actually writes her own stuff that sit there and lip sync. They were there before Daredevil came out, just happened that their song struck a note in some people. Origin rates as one of my top ten albums and if they ever tour near here I am going to be there.

But then again I have a thing for melodic goth metal with female vocalists. Most of the bands I know are from Europe and listening to a band play the same kinda stuff from the US is pretty impressive.

but, in regards to evanescence, i like their sound.. but i still stick to my opinion.
