why we mod our cars, i can rationalize myself by saying it's so i'll do better in auto-x, but i know it's something more instinctal, like the everlasting desire for more speed

 

for my next ride, it will be so I'll do better in autox, but I do it now because I like to stand out just a little bit more than the rest

I often ask myself if I wanna start modding my car. For what I want, its going to take a good $2,500 to just get the basics out of the way before doing anything serious to the engine or suspension (besides coilovers).

I'm thinking I might just start a side savings fund throughout college, then sell my teg when I graduate then get a platform that would be more worthy of modding.

i haven't done it for more speed as of yet. i do it because i just can't help it. i've always modded things even as a kid.
