what he wants to do is select and copy a link, and then when he repastes it it saves the a href record, but of course the copy/paste is not sophisticated enough to do that, youre better off right clicking and copying target.

and now andy knows HTML and knows more design than me

and Kai is a designer with more programming skills then me...

so watch whos feet you stomp on.

well I know that with mIRC... if you are in say a channel, and you click to highlight some text... as soon as you are done selecting you release the button and mIRC automatically copies the highlighted text to the clipboard.

That's the closest thing I can think of. :dunno:
