believe it or not Jags build quality went up after Ford bought them. But Volvos quality went down :chuckles:

Jag is actually the #1-rated brand in some measure of quality now. Their reputation sucks, but the cars they're turning out now are supposedly really good--at least in terms of not breaking.
I'd still take a 5-series or E-class over an S-type.

Ford is the single largest manufacturer of vehicles in the world and they have their hooks into more companies than any other company out there in the auto industry.
Every car company is owned in some way or another by another so to say that is kinda moot...especially in this discussion.

I do agree with you Rick on the fact that some people on here are real haters about peoples parents buying them nice cars. It seems to me if those haters were in the position that mom and dad were going to buy them their car of choice then it would be ok because its them and not someone else.

I remember him from AV6.com and he said his car was all modified (kit, rims, etc) , but then I see him here and he's asking questions that people ask when they have stock cars like diy icebox and how to lower the car

Well maybe the kid is just a ricer who has everyone else do all of his work...even the easy stuff and decided to finally tackle some of his own work :dunno:
