56 degrees, damn!

only plan of the day is to put at least two or three screens, so i can open the windows and take advantage of the cool air.

my job is doing this thing where if you work 30 hours of ot between last week and september 10th, you not only get the regular ot pay, but also another $500 after taxes. then also another $500 for every additional 20 hours you work of ot. you have to work at least 2 hours a week of ot, so you can't just do it all in two weeks.

i declined, because i really don't want to be at work any longer than i need to be and i'm content with the paycheck i have, but this one girl in my section has already worked 31 hours, she doesn't have any days off and works like 12 hour days.

 

i'd rack up the cash money, but that's just me.


3 bars, 1 club, and a movie later ... I'm home. I'm not built for this anymore. :sleep:

 

I'm in MD visiting my sister and definitely enjoying the cooler weather. I haven't seen 70 degree weather in Florida since April. As for the extra cash, I'd do it. Trying to save for a house and bail other people out, all while living my normal lifestyle. That shit adds up.

 

not as sore as i thought i'd be from yesterday's workout at the gym

gonna hit an early movie showing w/ some friends and head to the beach afterwards. the weather seems almost perfect for it




on a side note, i miss having benefits from working a real, full-time job :wtc:

I'm man up and do it and spend the extra moneys on a mini vacation. But thats just me.

Made an awesome breakfast of bacon eggs rice and tomatoes. Washing it all down with a couple cups of 100% kona.

The house is already clean so time to run errands and maybe do a tune up on the bimmer.

Nice enough day that I might do some yard work.... and drink beers.:beer:

 

Sitting in a cafe doing some work. I am glad I found this spot. It is less than a mile from my house. I have a couch, free wifi, food and a nice atmosphere. It will be my new weekend working spot.

Since moving to a new spot...I havent really appreciated the neighborhood. So I am glad I went out to look for this. Next, I need a beat bike that I dont mind chaining to a stop sign so i can stop driving around here.

just found out this kid i was friends with back home died yesterday in a accident on his bike . . . crazy considering i JUST saw him last weekend for the first time in a couple years and caught up for a couple minutes. he was just getting ready to move out west and start a job and finally get on with his life too, had a house rented and everything. was moving in 2 weeks

 

Damn, that's fucked up. My condolences to the family.
