With the VG you would have to custom-engineer everything from the turbo kit to the ECU. The RB has been around in essentially the same form since like '91 so there's a huge amount of tuning resources out there (albeit mostly in Japan and Australia).

 

i think i want one. First off the 350 looks pretty damn good, then put in one of the biggest hp number import motors in it? hell yeah, even if it wasnt ungodly fast(even though it would be) it would still be cool

It has nothing to do with being a Nissan or not. It's a rwd car, and in rwd the transmission is usually mounted behind the motor instead of next to it in fwd.

Puffy, look under the hood of your Expedition and try and figure out where the transmission is. :fawk:
