Wtf is going on here? Is there anyone else with the same problem?

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. I managed to get it working somehow. When I was on WMP 9.0 I pressed on "Copy from CD" and it started spinning, unlike when I first popped it in it didn't read at all.

There is a trick to getting pass cd's that dont let you copy. Not sure how it actually works but a friend told me once that you get a black marker and mark the outer edges of the blank disc. Then pop it in and burn your copy.

Never seen it work myself but my friend said it worked for him for certain games.

how is that CD? i'm going to burn it soon from a friend. That black marker thing was from the first real try at protecting CDs from copying. Since then they've made it more elaborate.
