Default So I watched Scarface with my father...

...and it turns out that my father really likes the character Tony 'Scarface' Montana. Especially after the scene where he says, "I kill a communist for fun. But for a green card, I'd carve him up real good." and then saw my father with the largest fucking grin ever. The rest of the movie he thought was badass, like how he shot the drug dealer in the head, right in the middle of the street. Or how he was able to withstand all of the gunshot wounds in the final part of the movie after snorting so many lines of cocaine.

Watching movies with my father is going to be a bit weird for me now...

I usually watch mob/gangster flicks with him and is under the impression that I do not like deep and convoluted movies, which is far from the truth. All of the movies that require deep thinking are in Vietnamese and use certain words that a person like I would not understand, seeing how my Vietnamese is only for conversation and small talk. The only Vietnamese movies we watched that he liked were "The Scent of Green Papaya," "Three Seasons," "Green Dragon," and "Daughter from Da Nang." That and the fact that he watches all of these old war videos that shows some of the most depressing situations, like a child dying in a mother's hands after being hit with shrapnel. I would watch it with him, but it is way too depressing for me.

If you like Mob movies to watch with your old man, watch Empire with him that's a good ass movie also Knock Around Guys that one is ok it's kind of boring but there some good shoot out scenes, Snatch is also a good flick he'd like that one. But Scarface is still number one. He should also check out Lock Stock and Two Smoking barrels, kind of a sick twisted comedy, and one more good one is Last Man Standing, lots of shootouts in that movie one I'm sure he'll like. Those are just my suggestions.
