Pretty funny, actually. This is right next to my work.

 

1st

 

Damn this incessant heat over here!!! I can't stay asleep because despite the air-con running in my bedroom, the room temperature will continue creeping up all day. So for several days I've just been getting 4-5 hours of sleep.

 

USC and the RAND corporation are doing a study of randomly selected homeless men on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles. We're talking to them about their health, sexual behaviors and attitudes towards women. I do a 90 minute interview with my RAND-issue laptop and pay them $30 at the end. Amazingly resilient humans live down there. The questions asked are amazingly personal, yet every single one of them can't wait to tell someone... something.

 

Been a very long week, and a particularly long day. Now, I am stuck in the office elevator. Even the key that parks the elevator on the first floor and opens the door isn't working. FML

Yeah... There are a lot of couples down there who seem to stick together in a survival sense, more than a dating sense. It's hard, but it's not impossible for them to keep that bond down there.
