The basic sci-fi premise is that technology exists for people to share dreams and manipulate them, in order to steal information. The main character (Leo) plays a thief, and the whole thing basically boils down to a heist movie - but its so much more than that too. To say more would be to spoil it, but its an amazing movie.

It provides closure to the conflict in the movie, but leaves some questions open about what really happened - i.e. the ending definitely feels like the end of the story, but leaves some things open to interpretation.

I didnt get it from the trailer that's a relief. my friends and i were wondering if people were saying that the movie was good just b/c it was too confusing to actually understand but didn't want to risk sounding dumb
