An open letter from Cav's owner Dan Gilbert
Really!
Really!
You guy's would trust a Fawking child to rebulid this franchise?
About the only good thing this guy has done is hire byron scott(a year too late)and a ok GM
LeBron set the Cleveland Cavilers back 5 years
DAN's comments set them back at lease 10
What free agent is going to want to come there?
Really!

I think the guy is attacking James too personally. Shit is done, move on and concentrate on the team. It looks like he is almost relying on fans to hate on James to move forward.
:dunno:
I know shit about bball though

during the special over the weekend where they welcomed all three to miami bosh made the mistake of claiming that they had met months prior and discussed the plan to come to the heat, then immediately said he meant days . . . pretty big accident
which would be a clear violation of the rules
what should he do? say "hey, thanks for the 7 years lebron, good luck" and not care how the biggest superstar in the world rejected his hometown, his loyal fanbase, and his team on national tv effectively stabbing them right in heart without remorse? the city and fans absolutely loved him and he had to do it on tv in front of the world. what would you have him do?
If he wants know why lebron is leaving all he has to do is look into the mirror.
well, not that cuban should be getting involved but he has a point

if this true, shit is going to hit the fan.
LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh
i think the three of them just REALLY wanted to play together and this is where they could do it the soonest.
i'm sure things like this don't help the situation but i don't think gilbert could have done anything.
they had a plan and they stuck to it about playing together
A comment made by Bosh at a welcoming rally Friday night in Miami has only fueled accusations that the three stars began plotting their joint move to South Florida well before they were technically allowed to. Bosh initially told the assembled crowd that the trio had been talking about landing with the same team for "months" before catching himself and amending that statement to "days."
maybe just a slip but still . . . it raises eyebrows

If a player is traded by the team, the team doesn't make sure the player is happy or OK it with the player. They just trade him. This is no different. He plays for the NBA. Not the Cavaliers. They don't own him. His contract is up and he is free to do what he wants.
All Gilbert did is tarnish the organization. Who would want to be drafted by a team that treats one of the greatest players in the basketball history like this after 7 years of amazing seasons.
People like Gilbert and Cuban should not be allowed to own an NBA team.

He should act like a professional. Not a kid throwing a hissy fit. If anything, Gilbert should be sanctioned for publicly attacking another player. This is not how you should run an organization. Had this been a player talking this way about a team, Stern would be all over their ass.
