Default F$%^ING KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!l!!!!!

So I go to start changing my brakes, go to remove wheel number 1...the lug nuts are on so FUCKING tight...I'm like whatever...apply heavy pressure slowly. Get to my wheel lock nut and go to remove it and I hear a SNAP! Fucking thing snapped at the top so if I apply any more pressure I am sure that fucker will snap right off. :madr:

Last time my wheels were off when I got new tires installed. So those fuckers torque wrenched those to NO end. AND they are closed today so I can bitch them out for going ape shit on my lugs.

I hate when that happens...never had my lugs snap, but a few times I've gone to remove my wheels only to find that a shop bolted them on way too tightly. WTF kind of place doesn't know not to overtighten lugnuts?

Whenever I get new tires, I keep the wheel locks in my pocket, and have a torque wrench in the trunk of the car. I torque them myself before driving away. I just don't trust those monkeys.

I'm sure they just used an impact gun. I've seen way too many people do that. I agree that a wheel shop should know not to over tighten lug nuts. There is a fast way to do things then there's a right way.

Whenever I need to get new tires, I just bring them in "loose" so they don't have to install them on the car. Just mount the tires and balance them and I'm good. I'll put them on the car myself.

Though the guys at Discount Tire insist that I can bring them in while they're on the car and they'll do the work for me, I just have better peace of mind if I install the wheels onto the vehicle myself.

They weren't torque wrenched at all....they were air gunned.

I mean if they want to gun them, at least grab a torque stick. I'm in the "bring them loose" camp as well
