By supporting the film...more people go, more money they make!
Also, a friend of mine just showed his screening of an independent movie call "Downtime" It's about life in jail...shot in the Bay Area. And he was just picked up by Artisan Ent.

It's about rich socal asian kids who decide that's not good enough and end up as gangstas. At least I think it is.
The commercials are kind of funny to me, it's like,
"I got straight A's but I want money so now I carry my glock to high school."

hows that for supporting asians
All they're doing is acting like Johnny Tran.
Who cares? It's just a movie and it's just entertainment. The fact that this breaks some kind of boundary is all well and good but honestly I see no reason to make some huge issue about it "supports asian people" in some fashion.
So maybe the next time DMX comes out with a movie I should go see it because it supports black people?
