try a USB mouse? and the aftermarket sisterboard type sound card would proly be a good direction to head, something is wrong with the grounds, or its the fact that everything is so fawking close together its causing interference.

Anyway I am getting my AGP card and wireless keyboard and mouse next week and I'll see what it does.
i cant think of any intel motherboards ive ever owned with onboard sound.
but of all the motherboards ive ever bought with onboard sound ive had this problem...until this one
i went all out on a ABIT KT400, but it has onboard sound and LAN i think, i dont notice this at all, but im also using a MS USB mouse.
