Sitcoms: your views?
I think they are dead. Laugh track galore, typical setup/punch-line/commercial break/redo sequences...
There are very few "comedies" out there now, that aren't classified "sitcoms".

Big Bang Theory is a great comedy.
Two and a Half men is filled with laugh tracks and no surprise jokes, but still entertaining.
Modern Family is pretty funny, and moderate on originality.

I watch Big Bang Theory and Modern Family - both are hilarious. I also catch 2.5 Men and Always Sunny periodically. While I would say the sitcom is down from its heyday in the 90s, its doing better than it was 4 or 5 years ago and still has its place.
Edit - Also watch The Office, though it doesn't seem to be nearly as funny recently.

The Office is the only sitcom I enjoy.
The rest of the TV I watch is either animated (South Park, FG, Simpsons, etc) or sports (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, etc)

Shake n Bake!
Fresh Prince, The Nanny, Everybody Hates Chris, Rosanne, Family Matters, Cosby (sometimes), not really a fan of Malcom in the Middle though.
