Default Traffic Weaving Question

I was on my way home from work last night, minding my own business when I saw an S2K. The top was up, so I couldn't see the driver. He was driving fine until he saw me behind him, at which point he was blazing through traffic (or trying to).

It seemed that either he was too conservative, didn't know the car, or there's something I'm missing.

To get to the point... Would the fact that the S2K is a short-wheel base RWD make it more hazardous to weave traffic than a FWD w/ LSD?

I sure hope you weren't weaving. That's :nono: in any car.

Right, thanks for the helpful replies fellas. :fawk:

I don't remember mentioning I was weaving, so stop making asses of yourselves

I ask the question because I know the Integra is prone to lift throttle oversteer, which I wouldn't consider to be an issue if I was to weave. All I can remember seeing is the video where the S2K has snap-oversteer and drives off the cliff.

SO, let me re-iterate...

Would that make the S2K more hazardous for weaving in & out. It looked like the guy was trying to, but was afraid to really make any moves.

Edit: after re-reading that, let me clarify... (Assume = Ass of u & me, just so you don't take it personally)

So we are to assume that this guy just saw you.... got spooked and tried to impress you and/or run away?

Hey, if I had a technical answer I'd tell ya. h:

Well, I think he was just trying to impress me, honestly. There are two lanes, and had just gotten off I-95 onto Rt 32. This is a two-lane 45mph stretching downhill for like 5 miles, where it meets up with I-395N. This was rush hour traffic, a lot of people coming home from Pfizer Inc, General Dynamics, Electric Boat, the Sub Base, etc.

The first stop light on Rt 32, the right lane was open. There was a Mazda truck, then the S2K so I rolled up right behind him. We were all completely stopped, and the S2K jumps into the right lane, waits for green and boogies.

The fact that I stayed behind the truck but never lost sight of the dude surprised me. He had plenty of openings and sped up for them but waited for the last second and lost them. I was just trying to figure out why, because he only was able to get 2 'weaves' out of a possible 6.

You feel better now?

There were already marks on the right of the bumper, like he HAD brushed someone before. Or kicked the ass out or something. It wasn't a parking lot bump like the G35C I was behind this morning.

Also, if he didn't want to crack it up, he shouldn't be changing lanes in .2 seconds, weaving traffic, etc.
