herein lies the problem.

HIN has been in Chicago for 3 years. The turnout in terms of numbers is equal to the rest of the country.

FOr all 3 years, I competed in 4 door Wild.....believe it or not. The first year, I was the only car in the class, b/c, when they were classing cars at the door, there wasnt a car that was anywhere near mine in terms of mods....and since I was the first car to be classified as such, they used my car as a benchmark and noone ever hit it. Since then, even though I maybe should have been in mild, I didnt want to drop down in classes, so I stayed in Wild.

I wasnt up against that car head to head......we only met to compete for the BEst Acura prize, of which I never won against him.

What class did you compete in because your car doesn't seem as though it should be in wild class competition....I would guess mild???

Well since the class grew why did they still place you in wild??

Wouldn't that be something you would contest with the judging staff?

wild is anything like conversions or widebody kits,..anything that makes a drastic change to the car besides body kits and shit like that,...i can see why they put you in wild with the front end you got,...my widebody is always classed in the wild class

Hmm interesting.

So if a car is classed once in Wild class does it compete in that class no matter what or can you contest to step back down to a mild class?

I know in stereo once you go pro you always have to ccompete under pro class no matter what you are running.

not necessarily.

yoo should know....HIN staff is tradionallly not strict on anything....in every market, the people working are some local people that are friends with Vision Entertainment that just help out. They dont necessarily know what they are doing. Either way, though, I didnt care.

Yeah I had a couple rides that made competition but it was years ago and I always stayed in mild class.

Wild is too much for me and I generally have a hard time building a car for the judges and not for myself.....but competition is competition and its fun regardless.
