Default is it safe to travel now?

im planning a trip to my country, Taiwan, in the end of April, but im not sure if should take the risk of double threats. airplan suicide and SARS. my mom said there are not many people infected by SARS over there, but im still very paranoid about this deadly desease. what's your thoughts on traveling to Asia?

This SARS thing is just getting started. You could find yourself over there when it reaches epidemic proportions, and not be allowed to return home. I'd put the trip on hold until they have it under control.

Your chances of being affected by "airplane suicide" are pretty low. I'd be far more concerned about the new screening procedures. If there's a mistake on your credit report, they might hold you as a terrorist.

there are less than 20 ppl get infected by SARS in Taiwan so the desease is controlled well over there, but who knows right. I told my parents, i want first class not economic cuz i can't take the risk. well hopefully they love me that much

don't be so sure, but my point is that it could be more wide spread then anyone first imagined.

just my advice but I would stay in the US for while.

the answer is no (at least for taiwan). even if you're coughing they might not stop you.

From what I've read you need to do an x-ray to determine if you have SARS or not.
