Sony Panoramic Camera..
The panorama thing is a nice gimmick I suppose.
I'd be more interested in it because it has a 10 megapixel backlit sensor so should be pretty good in low light (for a p&s) and the wide end of its lens is 25mm equivalent for good wide shots. It also has a crazy big 3.5" screen.
Otherwise if you don't care about the screen size, the Sony WX1 has the same sensor but a nicer lens with wider f/2.4 max aperture (the TX7 is f/3.5...bigger number = less light) for even better low light pictures, or the HX5 has a bigger zoom range (25-250mm equiv) with similar f/3.5 max aperture to the TX5.
The Canon S90 and SD4000 have a similar sensor but their wide end is "only" 28mm equiv, but they have an f/2.0 max aperture and more manual controls. They also aren't stuck using worthless Memory Sticks .
