How have I been an asshole? Just because you don't like me or think I'm an asshole doesn't mean you can ban with no good reason other then personal preference. Just because nobody says anything about it when I get banned because it doesn't surprise anybody anymore. Even Chris Webmaster isn't surprised when I get banned since he knows most of the time I get banned for the :ghey: reasons.

 

I admit there may have been circumstances surrounding some of your previous bannings that are... sketchy, however this one is perfectly legitimate and you'll have to wait out your day to retrieve your username.

 

get rid of the ****ing hack if you haven't done so already so no more ****heads will try and do this again.

and why not just go with a formal warning about the thing, banning is going just too far.

qtiger: i know you've got better things to do than to sit there and ban Chris. Now I know Chris personally, hes a good guy, a little on the wierd side, but his technical side comes out when needed. He's just having his fun, just like you and I are here.

Why wait days when in a few days I'll get banned again? I could care less about my post counts registration dates, or old username.

If you had proof and you wanted to use it against me then you could of moved it into the moderators corner. But you don't since you have no proof that it exist. I'm sure an administrator will do so when they are available. As far as I know no one with the capability and knowledge is connected.

I consider this thread the formal warning about it. We have no additional means beyond threads and announcements by which to notify users. In case you're unaware of our policy, a first strike banning is for 24 hours only. Banned members will have their posting rights restated at that time.

Yes, I do. I'd rather be reading and posting on HAN about far better topics. However, I'm a mod here and with that priviledge comes the sometimes tiresome responsibility of keeping things neat around here.

Perhaps you missed all of the posts in this thread and others about how aggravated people are with the exploitation of this particular hack... won't speak for others, but I'm not having any fun.

Obviously you have not read my previous posts. Despite what you may have been told, members are not banned for disagreeing with moderators.

 

Perhaps you should take your own advice and not take things so seriously. If, as you say, you don't care about post count, username, or registration date and you, like you also said, have many logins and email addresses, then being banned should be of no issue to you.

I've already made my case on the legitimacy of your banning. If you have a problem I would implore you to follow due process and complain to an administrator about my actions.

Oh believe me I was aggrivated on this situation as you were, ask Aux. He was the first one to recieve my blow on the situation. I'm sure you know how it feels to come straight home from work and see a page full of threads about you.... you get pissed off. But after all is said and done we had a laugh from it.

I have never seen Chris banned 'just because' nor done it myself. I'm also not omnipotent or omnipresent so take that as you will.
