Friend and I are trying to book a round trip flight to Cali for $20

You could fly from and to any number of destinations. There are some restrictions, but there are still a great number of places from which to choose for a great deal on airfare.
In the St. Louis area, the closest Jet Blue hub is Chicago.

So your round trip flight will be 5/11-5/12?
I'm sure you have to pay all of the standard fees on top of the $10. Still a great deal though.
