i take my paint stuff to the guy that has done me right in the past,but his kid is more or less running the place now, and i think he takes advantage of honda owners...

$75/EACH to do my new mirrors. i feel like i got horribly raped...should i find somewhere else to go? demand to do business with the kids father from now on? OR is this a fair price to do a pair of mirrors that need to be dissambelled, sanded, cleaned and refinished in a different colour?

If so it is a sick price. If its per piece its a little steep but not neccesarily rape.

 

Just approach the father in a joking manner about the prices and maybe some good will come out of it.

i would have been happy to pay 75-125, but 150 seems a little ourageous.
im well aware of what the project entails, i know small work is not much cheaper then doing say a DOOR, and thats why im not doing it, but it just seems i got hurt a bit.

Wounded but I don't think it's neccesarily rape. Hes just making sure he gets what is going in on it.

It's a little tricky sometimes to get the paint to adhere properly to the black plastic on the mirrors, side skirts, and side moulding because it takes a bit more prep than the metal parts of the car.

I dunno it's all in what you want out of it I guess.

 

You can get your whole front bumper done for $100. I say that your asshole is taking a beating on this one.

 

when steph has a little more experience at Hentzen she can bring me home whatever paint i might like, at cost, cuz thats what they do there. they make paint for everything, from peoples fenders all the way up to the b2 bomber.
