If you want a kick ass game selection get PS2. The downside is, yea it has slow load times, but the games are kick ass, and lots of fun. As far as the graphics issue, they aren't as good, but they are still good. Go play on an 8 bit NES and then play playstation 2 and tell ps2 has shitty graphics 
Xbox is far more superior than PS2 as far as hardware goes, but game selection sucks ass. I buy a system for enjoyability and game selection. To me, I wouldn't be able to get either of those from Xbox.
