that sounds all good and perfect in the text books but that's now how it really works. because if it did we wouldn't have tariffs right
the biggest factor that is holding us(the world) back from getting greater results is ourselves (human). yet that is what makes us so different from the rest of the "animals"

I'm with will on the public education idea. Also what about counseling and big brother type programs? The people that volunteer to help and those that are helped both benefit from it.
I don't think the zero sum theory holds true. If you wanted to prove it, you'd first have to come up with a universal definition of being negatively affected. There are far too many opinions of what being negatively affected is.

I feel I am being negatively being affected by this thrend 
I think most people would agree that negatively affected = $$$$
but $$$ is not universal. meaning most countries have different currency. 1US$ does not equal 1 Canadian $ or UK pound.
