Stopped caring.

I predict (if you remember I did pretty well last year on that):

Washington vs. Montreal: No contest, Washington in 5 (maybe 6). Interesting to see two teams with inconsistent goaltending/defense.

New Jersey vs. Philly: I would have to say Philly in 5 (maybe 6). NJ magic isn't special any more and Marty's been up and down all year.

Buffalo vs. Boston: Boston always had high hopes but injuries and lack of production from the guys that matter, they're going down. Miller > Boston. Buffalo in 6-7.

Pittsburgh vs. Ottawa: Reluctantly Pitts in 6.

San Jose vs. Colorado: Definitely a great series. I want to see Colorado go far in the playoffs but they seem to lack experience. Probably San Jose in 6-7.

Chicago vs. Nashville: I like the Hawks and they will go deep. I want to say Chicago in 6 if they can stay healthy.

Vancouver vs. LA: Vancouver depends on one line and one goaltender, has worked out well for them thus far. Don't think LA has the experience. I would say Vancouver in 5-6.

Phoenix vs. Detroit: Detroit has been pretty inconsistent. I'm going to have to go with Phoenix in 7.

uh no let's not hope that. howard this year has been far superior to ozzie and I hadnt read anywhere that babcock was doing any such thing. He's not one to change things up because of one game. and for good reason as we saw last night. besides the entire team fully backs howie, zetterburg especially. that says a lot

have to say this is pretty accurate to what I'm thinking except for two areas

detroit in 7 - reasons = obvious

and colorado in 7 - i think colorado is hungrier, maybe not the better team but the hungrier one and i think that is going to make up for the difference :dunno:

wish montreal could win but they just don't have what it takes, same for ottawa

I was a huge Red Wing's fan in the '90's but they just don't seem to be as a complete team that they were in years past.

I like Colorado, they got a great future, if they had Sakic I'd think they'd be in a better place.

Howard has been doing well and it is good that the team backs him up. I just dont think that Howard has quite the net presence that Ozzie has. Its not major things, but just IMO Ozzie is the better choice. But I can def understand Babcocks choice from the way that Osgood played the first games of the season.:tsk:
